    Stumbled on your reference to the "Processing" language. Gotta say it is intriguing and may try a few simple programs with it. Thanks for pointing it out. Cheers!

    Eric, Were You in the FIDO QBasic echo in the 1990's?
    I learned lots there from the other users in the forum.

    I started learning Basic while reading articles in Popular Electronics & Radio-Electronics magazines even before buying a C=64, and later having a 486DX33 VESA BUS box built.
    I even c&p DOS 5.0 Basic to my XP box when I got that in 2006.

    A long time ago, I messed around a little with BASIC, using Microsoft QuickBasic for DOS. I suppose that isn't very obscure though. :)

    I wasn't. I didn't use Fidonet a whole lot in the 90s, and didn't post in any programming echos.
