Hi Wang,

I wanted to be able to run the QWK program right away, so I prefer a native program. But I'd probably try that as well, I missed using BlueWave.
It's not perfect using dosbox, but it works. I created shortcuts for
Sempoint and bluewave that launch dosbox-x and the program I want.
I didn't like SX that much either; I think I used both BW and SX
because the BBSes I connected to offer downloading proprietary
offline mail formats which were better than regular QWK. BW by far
was the best choice back then as long as the BBS had it installed.
Bluewave was the best choice for sure! I was a huge fan of the format
and used it for years. I'm currently connecting to a synchronet board
and the version of QWK built into sync is the best there is. Long subject lines, etc. Sempoint can deal with threads and the rest of the good stuff
and keeps a local squish database.
... If you didn't get caught, did you really do it?
