That's weird because we don't have Milky Way brand bars in Canada,
just Mars, Snickers and Three Musketeers. They are all made by the
same company and they are all quite similar to each other.

When I was a kid we used to have Milky Way bars but not Mars bars in Canada. I think they are the same thing, just re-branded.

Most likely you are right. The Milky Way bars in America were identical
to the Mars bars in England when we were there in 1972-75. It is quite possible that the distributors of candy bars when you were young were
using the American company, but now where you are living they use the
British version.

Title: Sweet Smoky Sandwiches (Turkey & Apple) - SL 10/97

Yield: 4 Servings

2 ea Granny Smith apples; cut
-into thin slices
2 tb Lemon juice
1/2 c Soft cream cheese with honey
-and nuts
8 sl Whole grain bread
12 oz Thinly sliced smoked turkey
-breast

Toss apple slices with lemon juice; drain.

Spread cream cheese evenly on 1 side of each bread slice; top 4
slices evenly with apple slices and turkey. Top with remaining bread
slices; cream cheese side down.

Yield: 4 servings.
