From JIM WELLER@1:135/392 to SEAN DENNIS on Sun Aug 15 22:00:00 2021

Quoting Sean Dennis to Jim Weller <=-

A bit on the cool side for early August.

    Signs of an early fall?

Not necessarily. It just feels cool after the record breaking heat
    wave earlier in the month.

It's currently 64 when the average high is 65.5 and the average
    nighttime low 51.

The record high for August 15 here was 80 in 1989 and the low
36 in 1950. (In the 80 years of record keeping in Yellowknife over
300 of the daily highs were set in the past 40 years but over 300
lows were recorded during the first 40 years. Random hot and cold
daily temp variations are merely weather but that pattern is sure a
    strong sign of climate change!)
