cubed meat ... run through the tenderiser

Do meat markets still do that? I have not had or even seen
    minute steaks in decades.

We have found them in the stores before, but recently ...
could not find any cubed steaks anywhere.

The three that I buy meat at do, indeed, have and use the
    machine.

They sure do. I bought some just the other week from Foodland

So I guess they are still popular in some areas but not others.

We thought that maybe they were a winter thing, but I'm not sure.

I don't recall cream of mushroom soup, but she did use the Lipton onion
soup mix. The cooking directions seem to be spot on.

NOTES: Recipe seemed too bland so added cumin and garlic. May want to
up the amount of chili powder or switch to cayenne pepper.
