Here are some things I have done in the microwave with reasonable
success. Please note that my microwave is an 1100 watt unit so you
may need to fuss about with the timings for your oven.

Title: Microwave Scrambled Eggs
Categories: Eggs, Dairy
Yield: 1 serving
1 ts Butter
3 lg (55 g) eggs
1 tb Whole milk or cream
1 pn (ea) salt & black pepper;
- to taste
1/4 c Shredded cheddar cheese
In a small microwave-safe bowl, microwave the butter
until melted, about 30 seconds. Brush it all over the
bowl.
Break the eggs into the bowl. Add the milk, salt, and
pepper. Whisk to combine.
Microwave the eggs, uncovered, for 45 seconds.
Gently stir the eggs with a fork, then stir in the
cheese. Microwave until fluffy and set but not
completely dry, about 45 more seconds. Serve
immediately.

Title: Microwave Bacon
Categories: Pork
Yield: 2 servings
8 oz (225 g) streaky bacon
If you don't have one of those "microwave bacon cookers
you can use this method.
Place two paper towels on a dinner plate.
Arrange four slices of bacon on the paper towels, not
touching each other.
Place two more paper towels on top of the bacon slices.
Microwave on high until crispy. In my microwave, this
takes 4 minutes. However, microwave ovens greatly vary,
so check after 3 minutes. You can always add 1 more
minute if needed.
Remove the plate carefully from the microwave. It will
be very hot. Repeat with the four remaining bacon slices.
