I have some suggestions for the mail autoresponse feature.
I could be very cool to be able to more customize the response message
sent to users.
Well, at least, to be able to define the "from" and "subject" field of
the mail sent back to the user.
but also to incorporate some kind of Wildcat! text macro processing in
the message text so that we could send a more customized response.
Let's say something that could look like this:
of course, the @@ macro used below don't exist.
Hello @E-mail-Address@
We received your request here in Paris on @DATE@at @TIME@ about the
subject @SUBJECT@
Be sure that we will reply as soon as possible about your question.
etc... etc...
I think (as I said some days ago) that this same text macro processing
logic could be very useful for configurable templates response for WCListserve as well.
What do you think of it?
