Hi Mike,
You mean the GUI Frontend WcNav? Well, it works now under normal 32 bit
OSes with 16 bit sub-system. The issue is that Microsoft stop supporting 16 bit and made the 32bit the new sub-system under 64bit OSes.
While we would to say we want to have 32 bit WCNAV or even 64bit, resources are limited and the market is changing to where HTML5 and WEBSOCKETS
promises to provide interactive I/O with WEB 3.0 browsers. I think later this year will have a better feel about HTML5 and WEBSOCKETS.

WCNAV never allowed LFN and its 16 bit so it will never support LFN
until it
is updated to a 32 bit system and thats going to be a while.

Hector (or anybody):
Just trying out the new version you posted for us to try out. It
seems
we are still unable to download files over the 8.3 name limit.
I have tried several files and if they have the ~ in the name I get "File not found"
Also, I found that when you use the wizard to start the file
transfers,
it does not like the trailing \ at the end. I had to remove it from
the
directory name.
