Why does XP keep doing the "Found New Hardware" thing for every new flashdrive I plug in? Even if it's an identical flash drive, it does
that. For example I bought two IDENTICAL SanDisk 32gb drives. XP had
to go thru this process for BOTH drives, not just the first one. WHY?

Each flash drive has a unique identifier. Even if they're the exact
same
make and model. I assume you do not get the "Found New Hardware" with
subsequent insertions of the flash drives, just the first time...
correct?
If you see that message every time then something else is wrong.
