Hello all....
I have a question. Little background. Have my WC5 folder
shared over my lan and have done the wcsyspw on each machine. I am now getting the following error when attempting to run wcReports:
Component 'THREED32.OCX" or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.
wcReports runs fine on the actual NT machine running wcServer. The only thing that has changed is the update to the latest version of WinServer.
Anyone else having this issue? This is with Windows NT Workstation.
One Windows 98 I get an error when opening up a message: Run-time error '13'. Type mismatch.
Thanks!

Do a search of the messages database here for
".ocx or one of its dependencies" (without quotes)
in the WIN Server group, the has been some discussion and remedies to
a few ocx problems, and as of yet the runtime error 13 has not been rectified.

On the server where you have wcSERVER installed, look in that server's %WINDOWS_DIR%\SYSTEM32 and copy THREED32.OCX into the network machine's %WINDOWS_DIR%\SYSTEM32 folder.
Then, from the networked machine, go into %WINDOWS_DIR%\SYSTEM32 and
type: regsvr32 THREED32.OCX

The above should fix your problem. Another solution would be to install your wcREPORT program on the secondary/networked machines and that way
the necessary ActiveX files would be installed on those machines as
well.
Thanks,
Chris
