    Hi Hector,

Since wcfile can now read LFN I have been deleting all my files in one area at a time with wcreport and reimporting them with wcfile. Now the problem is if I try to delete more then one screen at a time wcserver will shut down. This also happens when I run wcrefresh. (All my wildcat is loaded up as a service) I have not tried it with wildcat load manually.

The other problem is wcfile (I know wrong topic area) it's not reading the diz files as it imports the files. Do I need pkunzip in the home directory or in a windows path?

    Regards
    Darren Paddick

P.S. Sorry for my English and spelling. Could do with spell checker with wildcat.

Try doing a wcREPAIR on your file database and see if that helps in
    wcReports and wcRefresh runs...

I would do that first since you will probably get a error window that
    might help.

The other problem is wcfile (I know wrong topic area) it's not reading the diz files as it imports the files. Do I need pkunzip in the home
directory or in a windows path?

I don't know it is supported. I have to check that otu.

By the way, I just tried it both ways, marking two pages of files and
deleting the selectin files. No problem.

OK, I'll keep an eye out for an Windows error box/code. But as far as I know all I get is a sound (boooooob) and wcserver as shut down. I'll give it another go and see what I get.

I have found that Wcrefresh does remove the 8.3 file name from the database and replaces it with the LFN. But it has not done it with all the files. I will run it again to see what it does.
