I just have installed v6 build 451.3. After including some users and try to change it via wcReport, I receive runtime error 713, it says Class not registered. I need the following file installed: MSSTDFMT.DLL.
This file is included in my winnt/system32 anyway.
Should I put this file in wc directory?

Did you do a fresh install of WCREPORTS?

    Or did you run WCReportsUpgrade.exe?

You just can't get that one file as MS distributes the whole thing as a bundle.
A Fresh install of v6.0 wcReports from the CD will do this and via the AUP, you should run WCreportsUpgrade.exe, which is basically all its doing, installing the MS Visual Basic Runtime distribution pack.

    Try that.

I am using v451.2 The AUP installed the WCReportsUpgrade.exe. I get the same error also. I ran the exe and am stil on 451.2.

I uninstalled wcReport and reinstalled. Still same issue.

What should I do next? The program works fine except the users tab.

    Thanks

Gee, I don't know. Everyone reporting similar wcreport install issues are always solved either with:

    WCREPORTSUPGRADE.EXE

    or the older version

    WCRDLLS.EXE from FTP://FTP.SANTRONICS.COM

WCREPORTSUPGRADE.EXE is suppose to be the newer one of WCRDLLS.EXE which installed More of the Microsoft stuff that we felt wasn't necessary. The
new one cleaned it up. But we did have some people who had to install the
old one for some reason, and it worked for them when the new one did not.

Maybe it is an OS thing.

    What OS are you using?

I was going off one of the previous message on this thread. I am just unable to get the Users tab to work, and thought this might be why.

Someone else fixed this by manually registering msstdfmt.dll

    do this

    cd \winnt\system32
    regsvr32 msstdfmt.dll

and see if this fixes it.
