Hello Nick!
Sunday March 22 2020 00:21, you wrote to me:
Ben Ritchey is dead. The DBRIDGE echo always goes to me.
That is now changed as youself as the Mod.
However you will need to send in a MOD-UPD to fully activate it. please read the elisthlp file posted out earlier.
There is no ZEC, so the ZEC echo is not needed. Also kill Z1_ROUTING, Z1_ECHOMAIL (despite its "chatty" description). Both are dead and unnecessary.
Done, done and done they will be killed off on the next WARN run on the 1st of the month.
Z1REGCON choked for some reason. Make sure that goes to me.
That is down to you to provide a Z1REGCON.ECO file as the inital MOD-ADD failed
on too many DESC lines.
Really... in a perfect world where Belgian farts smell like chocolate,
all dead echoes should be dropped from the list.
In fact, it is a good question about the scenario where someone
attempts to register an echo / makes themselves the moderator of an
echo or topic that conflicts with something else. For example, if I
did not claim the DBRIDGE echo, someone technically "could of" claimed
it?
I also assume the 1:1/21 address is no longer needed now?
The issue here is that I am in zone 2 and Ward did not want to set me up as 2:1/21. So for the moment at least I created 2:25/21 - hardly the standard over the years.
How ever if it keeps the address in the elist maint family as it were and you are happy to do so then please put my details (from 2:250/1 or 2:25/21) in.
Once that is set, I can kill off 2:25/21 in a few weeks.
Vincent
