Let me add a twist to this question. Since the web menus and such are created dynamically, is there a way to have the file areas list alphabetically and such? I have 150+ Shareware CDs online, and
currently, as it is now, whatever I installed last, is on the bottom. I would sure love to have it list alphabetically so all the "nightowls"
were with nightowls, and such.
Would this be a feat of wcBasic? Or reformatting the HTML before its displayed?
I need File utilitys - move groups, areas,
renumber tree ect. much more will wait till
later to explain.
Rick, just to humor myself, I went out and looked at the SDK to see if this type of application could be built based on that medium, and I did not see a way to create File Areas so therefore, either Santronics can give the 3rd party developers a way to incorporate this in the SDK or Hector can adjustment wcREPORTS. I know there are going to be a lot of changes in WINS2000; however, I understand your concern as well.
Being a SysOp who LOVES change, I would love to be able to move and renumber and manipulate my conference/file areas at will; however, I
have no support for that at the moment because it's no offered. Lets
hope that Hector and Shane will provide a solution soon!

Humor Yourself? hmmmmmmmm..
Anyway, the wcsmw.h protocol library is all you need. Its all there.
Every utility in WINSERVER is written with the WCSDK, including
WCCONFIG. All this is documented in the WCSDK manual.
The idea of a "Area Mover" is a very complex design and will require
quite an extensive engineering knowledge of the operations WINSERVER.
You just don't Move areas, but you have to "re-adjust",
"re-organizes" securities and all other references that deal with conference numbers.
