I do have to wear glasses and when I was younger I didn't
know there were exercises you could do to strengthen your
eye sight.
If you are nearsighted, you can still do them and note modest  
improvement in a few minutes. Ultimately what the exercises do  
is train your eye to relax (parallax view) and strengthen the  
outer muscles.  After a set of these, even reading close is  
improved.
I've gotten into the habit of doing them over the years  
whenever I felt images at a distance seemed out of focus. When  
you do them long enough you learn what it feels like and can do  
them without the aide of the 3D images like the teapot.
I also learned to do them in reverse, by crossing the eyes and  
focusing at a distance. That strengthens the opposite muscles.
But both techniques improve distance viewing immediately.
