I am SO glad that the quote in the FidoGazette quote got to you, that was it's purpose.

    *but*

"Democrats" did not 'burn/loot/pillage cities in the name of "equality"'.

Here is a great statement that Dale Shipp posted in another echo:

"...violent interaction comes when the police lose respect for the fact
that all people are human beings and deserve to be treated as such -- and that people are not to be shot in the back or stomped on the neck until dead."

It remains a fact though, that Republicans do call themselves the Party of Lincoln while waving that sick confederate flag.

You are one sick puppy, liar.

    BTW:

"The E.U. ban against US Citizens travelling to the E.U. shows that Trump has transformed the U.S. "into a global health risk." ~Joe Biden

I could go on and on, but you are not worth my time and energy.

I know overt liberalism is your gimmick, much like "stupid Americans" is Bjorn's, but I really wish you would reconsider turning the 'gazette into a political soapbox. You tend to be much nicer when you don't use your gimmick.

I may disagree with what you have to say but understand its your place to say it. But this is a silly message hobby only a fraction of the world uses anymore. Nobody cares to hear about political stuff here, ever. Its tired.

Lets suppose we all jump aboard the liberal train... What do you expect to happen? A bunch of weirdos from some net called "Fidonet" to march to the

I do not expect nor want a reply. Just try to be better than this.

By carefully studying several issues of the 'gazette to see that some have had politically-charged or baiting remarks in it since November 2016 for no
reason other than to push an agenda. If it was a pro-Trump agenda I would complain the same... although I suspect a total emotional meltdown from
several others would beat me to it.

Contrast with Fidonews issues in how surprisingly Felten mostly keeps his gimmicks and anti-American vulgarity to himself and not seeping into something which is considered a searchable piece of history. I have no problem with Janis running a gimmick here, just not in something that used to be neutral.

I've done my homework on all of this but unfortunately just like "Oli",
you appear to wish to venture into combative insult-territory with me even though I have never insulted you or really ever conversed with you, ever.

I don't find the gazette to be politically charged or baiting.

You might find the odd quote of the day or editorial that has a political flavour but it's not a political rag.

Fidonews was once a hotbed of ranting/raving and rebutals and it could
happen again if anyone choose to send in an article. I don't remember now if those rantings included politics or not.

I read both the fidonews and the gazette, at least a quick glance. I've
never sent in an article and I don't think I ever will. If I have something
to say I choose an echo to say it and it's easy for those who want to rebut
or comment on what I have to say.

I don't find the gazette to be politically charged or baiting.

Janis just admitted to me it is and has admitted before on a few occasions. Maybe you don't see it as political because her beliefs match yours.

I don't think I've ever said anything combative or insulting to you.

So perhaps its not a good idea to start, by:

You told me my original response to you was an "illogical and loaded question". Did you consider that to be an insult? It was not meant to be insulting. It was a question.

Yours was a loaded question. Am I trying to censor the 'gazette. Clearly I'm not, I just suggested a break from treating it like a soapbox. But you felt
the need to ask that as if I would be foolish enough to reply with "yes".

Then you clearly stated you replied in kind because you thought my original post was illogical and loaded. So yes, its somewhat insulting to me when someone clearly tries to play tired old douchebag semantics game with me.

I clearly explained to you using plain English in another echo that I question everything and everyone. I receive two types of replies. Emotion-driven ones and logic-driven ones. And I clearly explained which ones I find engaging.

So either you be factual with me going forward and know that I do my homework and research before I post something, or save the Oli-style childish retarded antics... unless thats your gimmick and what yanks your crank in Fido.

    End of thread.

No, because I can sleep at night knowing that I do not support
    this administration.

Well, that's nice. I sleep well at night too. Your answer
doesn't even remotely answer my question, though.

Here's an idea... if my politics are getting to you, go to
another echo.. wow, what an idea.

Sure, I could do that. We'll see.

Let me ask you one more question - I seem to recall you stating
that political topics/posts were not desired/allowed in this
echo... Is that true or not? Did you say that right here in
the echo a few months back? The followup question to that
    should be obvious...

She replied to you in kind. What did you expect, butterflies and
    zebras and moonbeams?

Wrong again. At the time she posted that hateful stuff, the only
thing I had said was my original post. Nothing personal or
hateful in my original post. So how do you justify your claim
right there above that she "replied in kind"?

    That's right, you can't.

I asked you to quote something that I said that was a lie. Do you have reading comprehension issues?

No I don't. You asked me to quote your lie and I did.

You clearly do (have comprehension issues). See below.

    You wrote..

    Dear Democrats,

You can't call yourselves "the party of tolerance" AND
burn/loot/pillage cities in the name of "equality".

    Love,
    Reality

That comes from some kind of alternate reality, it is a lie.

Again, I'll ask: What specifically in that is a lie? I mean it
isn't that complicated. Let's break it down:

    1. Does the Democrat party like to think it is "the party of
    tolerance"? Yup. Check.

    2. Did Democrats (I'm sure there were some Republicans there too,
but MOSTLY Democrats because they are the ones who support BLM/Antifa/anti-police) burn/loot/pillage all over the country?
    Yup. Check.

Bzzzt, wrong. That is a lie, in fact it goes somewhat beyond a
    simple lie.

See? You failed to comprehend or answer the question that was
asked. What *SPECIFICALLY* there is a lie??? Is it #1? Is it
#2? You say "that" is a lie, while referring to multiple objects.
What is not true about either of those 2 statements?

    So........ WHERE'S THE LIE???

    There's that true issue agian.

Not sure what that even means.... but there's your comprehension
issue again. You did not answer the question that was asked.
What specifically did I say that was not true?
