    Hello Rick,

I am wondering if you can adjust the message windows the text is not
    hard against the left edge?

    Not that I know of.

    ... @C:\GOLDED\ASCII\TAGLINES

You might need to add .txt to your tagline file. If I'm not mistaken I had to do that some time back. I have these three keywords in my golded.cfg for tagline support.

    TAGLINESUPPORT YES
    TAGLINECHAR .
    TAGLINE @/home/alan/taglines.txt

Although I have them commented out now because my tagline file is all used up.

    Ttyl :-),

Golded and any other editor displays what is in the messagebase.

If there are no leading spaces/tabs it starts off on the left side.
    What else should it do?

Is TAGLINES a textfile with taglines?

I was meaning if the actual editor maybe could be spaced in off the edge a little it would look nicer, at least to me.

Is TAGLINES a textfile with taglines?

Yes just a text file with a couple hundred taglines..

Thanks Al Ill give that a go, also seeing your message reminded me, does
Golded have a word wrap option that you know of?

    Hello Rick,

Thanks Al Ill give that a go, also seeing your message reminded me,
does Golded have a word wrap option that you know of?

Golded wraps up text quite nicely as long as it has good input.

We shouldn't be doing any wrapping ourselves because we don't know what the size of terminal is being used by other readers. It's hard for any reader to display text nicely and in a clean way when it's been pre formatted for a certain screen size and your not using that screen size.

I wonder what happens if yo put a unwrapped / long lines message in a Mystic JAM base.

    Hello Oli,

I wonder what happens if yo put a unwrapped / long lines message in a Mystic JAM base.

I'm not sure. Currently it might get truncated at 255 characters.

It would be a good thing if it did that, then it could dynamically wrap message
text based on the users screen width which could be something other than 80 characters on a phone or tablet or just about anywhere.

Still do not see why it would be nicer ;)))
But then again ... I do not need to understand ;)

I have seen that you have solved it.
