    MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

    Title: Waffle Sausage Casserole
    Categories: Pork, Breads, Dairy
    Yield: 4 Servings

    1 lb Breakfast sausage; cooked,
    - crumbled
    8 Frozen waffles; toasted
    - crisp
    2 c Grated cheddar cheese
    1 1/4 c Milk
    6 lg Eggs
    1/2 c Maple syrup
    Salt & pepper

    Set oven @ 325+|F/163+|C.

    Prepare an 8" x 8" square baking dish with nonstick
    cooking spray. Arrange 4 waffles in the bottom and
    sprinkle with half the sausage and half the cheese. Repeat
    layer with remaining waffles, sausage, and cheese.

    In a medium bowl, whisk the milk, eggs, syrup, salt, and
    pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the waffles layers.
    Cover with plastic wrap and set a weight on top.
    Refrigerate for at least an hour or overnight.

    Bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until the edges are
    puffy. Remove from oven, cool 5 minutes and serve.
