    MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

    Title: Dunstan Chocolate Cake

    Yield: 9 Servings

    2/3 c Cocoa
    1 ts Vanilla essence
    100 ml Glenfiddich whisky
    1 c Boiling water
    2 lg Eggs
    2 c Caster sugar
    1/2 c Sunflower oil
    1 c Buttermilk
    2 c Plain flour
    1/4 ts Salt
    2 ts Baking soda

    Set the oven @ 180ºC/360ºF.

    Line a 23 cm tin with baking paper.

    In a bowl, whisk together the cocoa, vanilla, whisky and
    boiling water. Beat eggs and sugar together until light
    and fluffy, then beat in oil. Add buttermilk and hot
    water mixture.

    Sift our, salt and baking soda into the bowl and beat
    for a minute or more until shiny. (It will have the
    consistency of batter.)

    Pour into tin and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a
    skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out
    clean.

    Serve with chocolate sauce and ice cream.
