Title: St. Bede's Roasted Root Vegetables

5 md Carrots; peeled, in 1"

3 sm Turnips; peeled, in 1"
- pieces
1 cl Garlic; minced
1 ts Minced fresh rosemary

1/4 ts Dried rosemary; crushed
1/2 ts Salt
2 tb (to 3 tb) oil
Place roots in greased 11" X 8" X 2" casserole. Sprinkle
with herbs and salt. (You may want to adjust seasonings
for your family's taste.) Drizzle with oil and toss to
coat. Bake, uncovered at 350ºF/175ºC for 35 minutes.
Stir. Raise temperature to 450ºF/232ºC and bake for 10 -
15 minutes longer, or until tender.
Makes approximately 4 - 6 servings.
