    MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

    Title: Bangers w/Colman's Mash & Gravy
    Categories: Beef, Potatoes, Beer, Poultry, Pasta
    Yield: 3 Servings

    6 Pork or beef sausage links
    2 ts Colman's Mustard Powder
    1 tb Colman's Mustard
    2 lg Potatoes; peeled, diced
    8 oz Dark beer
    8 oz Beef broth

    MMMMM--------------------------STAPLES-------------------------------
    1 ts Salt
    5 tb Butter; divided
    1/3 c Milk
    3 tb Oil

    FOR COLMAN'S MASH: place potatoes in large pot, season
    with salt, cover completely with water.

    Boil until potatoes are tender, approximately 15 minutes
    drain potatoes and transfer to mixing bowl.

    Add 3 tb butter and milk, mash with a potato masher. Add
    Colman's Mustard Powder. Use electric mixer for one
    minute for creamy potatoes.

    Transfer Colman's Mash to a baking dish

    FOR BANGERS:
    saute sausage in heated oil over medium heat until brown
    on both sides, approximately 4 minutes both sides.

    Set oven @ 375ºF/190ºC.

    Lay browned sausages into mashed potatoes sideways in a
    row. Bake sausages and potatoes until hot and bubbly,
    approximately 25 minutes

    FOR COLMAN'S GRAVY: In the same pan used to brown the
    sausages, melt remaining butter over medium-high heat,
    add beer and broth.

    Add Colman's Mustard and whisk over medium-high heat
    until reduced by half, approximately 4 minutes.

    Drizzle Colman's Gravy over sausage and potatoes.
