Title: Hank Colman's Barbecue Sauce

Yield: 3 Servings
4 c Ketchup
1 lg Lemon; zest only
2 lg Lemons; juiced
1/4 c Creole mustard
2 tb Trappey's Red Devil Sauce
1/4 c Worcestershire sauce
2 tb Molasses
2 tb Sugar
1 cl Garlic; chopped
2 tb Red wine vinegar
EQUIPMENT: Grill with mesquite charcoal, soaked chips,
or wood. Tongs and basting brush
In a large non-aluminum saucepan, combine all of the
sauce ingredients and warm through over low heat. Do not
allow to simmer or bubble.
Remove the sauce from the heat and set aside to cool
until ready to use.
Prepare the grill and ignite the charcoal.
Place the sauce in an old metal pot and set close to the
smoking fire to absorb the smoke flavor.
