    12 Chicken wings (about 2 1/2
    lb Total)
    2 tb Chinese five-spice powder
    1 tb Vegetable oil
    1/2 c Dry white wine
1/3 c Thin sliced, peeled fresh

    1/4 c Soy sauce

    2 tb Honey
    1 cl Garlic; thin sliced

Cut off and reserve tips of chicken wings for the stock
    pot.

Cut wings at joints to form 24 pieces. Place chicken wing
    pieces in a large bowl. Sprinkle with five-spice powder;
    toss to coat.

In a 12" skillet heat oil over medium-high heat. Add
chicken wings; cook about 10 minutes or until brown on
    both sides. Drain off fat.

For sauce, in a small bowl combine wine, ginger, soy
sauce, hoisin sauce, orange juice concentrate, honey, and
garlic. Pour sauce over chicken wings.

Bring to simmering. Cook, covered, for 5 minutes, stirring
once. Cook, uncovered, about 5 minutes more or until
chicken is no longer pink and sauce is slightly thickened,
    stirring occasionally.
