    MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

    Title: Chilli-Pasta Skillet
    Categories: Beef, Vegetables, Herbs, Pasta, Chilies
    Yield: 6 Servings

    1 lb Lean ground beef
    3/4 c Chopped onion
    15 oz Can pinto or red beans;
    - rinsed, drained
    14 1/2 oz Can diced tomatoes w/green
    - chilies; undrained
    8 oz Can tomato sauce
    1/2 c Dried elbow macaroni (2
    - ounces)
    4 oz Can diced green chile
    - peppers; drained
    1 tb Chilli spice mix
    1/2 ts Garlic salt
    1/2 c Shredded Monterey Jack or
    - cheddar

    In a large skillet cook meat and onion until meat is brown
    and onion is tender. Drain off fat.

    Stir in beans, undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, uncooked
    macaroni, chilies, chilli spice, and garlic salt. Bring to
    boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, about 20 minutes or
    until macaroni is tender, stirring often. Remove skillet
    from heat; sprinkle mixture with cheese. Cover and let
    stand about 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.

    Makes 6 servings
