    Title: Chilled Avocado Soup
    Categories: Fruits, Poultry, Dairy, Citrus
    Yield: 6 Servings

    3 Ripe avocados; halved,
    - seeded, peeled
    1 c Chicken broth
    1/4 c Water
    1 c Half & half or light cream
    1/4 ts Salt
    1/8 ts Onion powder
    ds Ground white pepper
    1 tb Lemon juice
    Lemon slices (opt)

    Place avocados in blender container or food processor
    bowl. Add chicken broth and water; cover and blend or
    process until smooth. Add half-and-half, salt, onion
    powder, and white pepper. Cover and blend or process
    until combined. Transfer to a glass bowl. Stir in lemon
    juice. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or up
    to 24 hours. Stir before serving. Garnish with lemon
    slices, if desired.

    Makes 6 side-dish servings.
