    Title: Marillenkuchen Martha
    Categories: Cakes, Desserts, Fruits
    Yield: 9 Servings

    4 lg Eggs
    280 g Sugar
    1 Env vanilla sugar
    125 ml Oil; tasteless
    125 ml Drinking water
280 g Plain, whole wheat or
    - buckwheat flour
    2 ts Baking soda
500 g Apricots; or rhubarb, or
    - plum, or apple pieces

Process the ingredients at room temperature!

Beat eggs with sugar until foamy.

    Stir in room-warm oil.

Blend the flour mixed with baking powder alternately
with the water into the foam mass briefly, but without
lumps - and the dough is ready!

Pour dough in prepared form (cake pan or baking sheet,
which may have been provided with baking paper) and top
    with the fruit.

    Bake at 350ºF/175ºC.

TIPS: Sprinkle with almonds or pecans before baking.

Add half a teaspoon of freshly ground cardamom to the
    flour or grind the granules.

This recipe is also great for apples, plums or rhubarb!
