    Title: Mason Jar Lid Pies
    Categories: Pastry, Fruits
    Yield: 4 Servings

    14 1/8 oz Pkg refrigerated pie crusts
    2 tb Blueberry or blackberry jam
    2 tb Blueberries
    1 lg Egg; lightly beaten
    1 tb Water
    Coarse sugar (opt)

    Set oven @ 375ºF/190ºC.

    Unroll pie rounds. Using a 4 1/2" circle cutter, cut 4
    circles out of each pie round; discard scraps or save for
    another use.

    Ease 4 of the circles into four 3 1/2" large mouth lids.
    Fill pies with jam and fruit. Lay remaining 4 circles on
    top of fruit. Use your fingers to fold pastry under, even
    with the edge the lid. Crimp edges using your fingers or
    a fork. In a small bowl combine egg and 1 tablespoon
    water. Lightly brush pies with egg mixture. If desired,
    sprinkle pies with coarse sugar.

    Bake for 25 minutes of until crust is nicely golden and
    filling is bubbly. Cool completely before unmolding.

    Makes: 4 servings
