• youtube-dl -U problem, anyone?

    Anyone getting the following error recently?

    C:\Downloads>youtube-dl -U

    ERROR: unable to download latest version

    Their server was probably down for a bit. Try again later.

    I updated youtube-dl yesterday afternoon without problem.

    $ youtube-dl -U

    Updated youtube-dl. Restart youtube-dl to use the new version.

    I wonder if your ISP is blocking access to it.

    Thank you for the link. The whole thing was triggered because
    of a few seconds of material which would be viewed as fair
    use. Sheesh. Sounds like some rookie at the RIAA wanted some
    attention.
