• File Areas

From IB Joe@1:342/201 to All on Tue Sep 1 18:32:49 2020
I'm having a problem setting up file areas... Message areas are working fine, with message groups as well. I have replicated what I have done in the
message areas to the file areas.

Here's the problem... I can list the File Groups but the subsequent File
Areas do not display. The directories are there, physically, they simply do not display...

2 have 2 file areas and 2 groups. Group1, BBS files, has an upload section.
In the setup of the file area, under the List area I have s10 ans g1 for the security level and group number. Whereas the file area is for files for
me... Joe's Files and the file area's name is SysOpUp and I have marked that areas' list section with g2 s200... they don't even show.

    Ideas??

    Thanx

In the file area setup use z1 or z2, similar to the way g1 or g2 is used in message areas.

Yes, I think you're using the wrong ACS code, try using z instead of g :)
