• forced secure sessions for unknown systems...

    please turn off that forced secure sessions option in your mystic binkp server options and only set it in the individual system records... we talked about this over a year ago in one or two different echos and then you stopped responding...

    paul, can you please help greg with the following problem... he has a fsxnet address and i don't know what name he is going by there... i cannot deliver mail to his system and he doesn't poll here on a regular schedule... as such, i
    cannot answer his requests in a timely manner :(

    I've dropped him a note in an othernet pointing to your post here and
    explained the rationale behind the request to change the setting. Will keep
    you posted on how I get on. I agree it would be good to get it changed.

    thank you, man... it has been a long time PITA in this case...

    while it was a good idea, i kinda wish that g00r00 had not implemented it in the server section and left it only to the individual node settings because of the breakage of random connectivity which FTNs are based on... it completely breaks the ability for some unknown system to deliver netmail directly... but hindsight is 20/20...

    No probs, yeah the issue was when it was first implemented the default
    setting was No instead of Yes for insecure sessions.... that has changed with the stock installer now... but early adopters who missed manually updating
    this session are in the situation you're encountering.
