Is it possible to configure an alias, so that netmail sent to some alias on a Mystic BBS is redirected to a specific user.
My specific problem is I'm getting netmails to "TickFix", which I
believe is the name of Synchronet's new filefix utility. However,
Mystic doesn't recognise that name, and I'd like to be able to redirect those netmails to Filefix, so Mystic can respond to those requests, and not leave the send wondering what black hole their netmail ended up in.
I've looked around the menu and also done a search on the wiki, but nothing
came up. :/

Yes, if your using mutil to process the incoming mail.
In your .ini file you use to call the "Import Echomail" stanza, I use mailin.ini, check the 'forward' lines.
For example:
forward = TickFix;Filefix
I had a few of these lines set up in my mailin.ini file. So if someone sent a netmail message to Sysop, it would forward to me. I also had a
few misspellings of my name added, so I would still get the netmail messages. ;)
Hope that helps.

Check out the ";forward = " entries in the Mutil.Ini file (for an explanation), or whatever .Ini tosses mail for you.

Take a look at the "ImportEchomail" stanza in mutil. You should find
what you need there with the "forward" option.
Why would you be getting netmails TO TickFix on your Mystic system? If Synchronet is doing any kind of automated netmailing, it should be FROM TickFix. The only thing I can think of is that someone used to using Synchronet is sending incorrect netmails to your system?

no one should be writing "To: tickfix"... tickfix doesn't respond to
those netmails by default... filefix is the bot's name that folks
should be writing to... replies come "From: TickFix"...

In any case, given the activity I've seen, I've decided to add the alias. :)

do you mean adding tickfix as an alias? that could lead to two
tickfixes arguing with each other endlessly if both systems have
tickfix as a robot alias... oh, wait... you mean an alias on mystic... right...
