Hello, Rob.
Eventually SBBSECHO gives the error "Failed to parse Origin Line
from..." on log and the message isn't import. Two examples:
[151791]2021-04-05 15:50:55 FSX_GEN: Failed to parse Origin Line in
message from MeaTLoTioN (21:1/100) in packet from 21:1/100:
c:\sbbs\inbound\6B5C5D4D.PKT
[161314]2021-04-08 12:25:59 FIDOTEST: Failed to parse Origin Line in
message from Mauro Veiga (4:801/194) in packet from 4:801/194.2:
c:\sbbs\inbound\60b3088f.pkt
And .pkt are converted to .bad.
Is a very aleatory error. Is there any way to fix this or force the
message to be imported? Or how to bypass the parse and not lost the
message? Is boring to miss messages.
No, the solution is to fix the software that's not generating the packets correctly.
Hmm, that's odd...
2021-04-02 18:09:24 Importing /sbbs/fido/inbsecure/019a62a5.pkt (Type 2e, 1.3KB) from 21:2/100 to 21:2/101
2021-04-02 18:09:24 Added FSX_DAT message from MeaTLoTioN (21:1/158) to packets for 0 links (exceptions: 1 seen)
2021-04-02 18:09:24 Deleting /sbbs/fido/inbsecure/019a62a5.pkt (from line 5998)
posted fine on 2nd

2021-04-05 13:51:12 Deleting /sbbs/fido/inbsecure/034c831f.pkt (from line 6004)
on 5th I get the same thing, failed to parse Origin.
2021-04-05 14:01:39 Importing /sbbs/fido/inbsecure/034d78c3.pkt (Type 2e, 2.8KB) from 21:2/100 to 21:2/101

Now we're good again. The middle message was posted from 21:2/100 instead of 21:1/158.
The message frmo 21:2/100 looks like

Interestingly the Ftn msgid is from 21:1/158 and Ftn reply 21:3/102 so something got corrupted somewhere along the line.
Now that I look I'm seeing them pop up all over the place.
