    Just curious, has anyone noticed that occasionally sbbs webserver w/runemaster web ui stalls out for a moment then displays the raw ssjs script? I have noticed it a few times and *just* had that happen when I logged on http://vert.synchro.net ... very difficult to reproduce.

    Nothing to do with Runemaster AFAIK. I've seen it happen here and there over the years, but not often enough or following any discernable pattern. If you ever do figure out how to reproduce it reliably, bring it to Deuce's attention.

    I've definitely seen some similar odd behavior... but I was connecting
    through a reverse-proxy and wasn't sure where the behavior was breaking,
    had trouble trying to track it down.

    nope, can't say that i have... in some cases, it is a browser thing... in others, the server sent the wrong MIME-type...

    which browser are you using?

    the next time it happens, take a look at the page info... not the source but the info that the server sent to the browser... that should tell you the MIME-type that was sent as well as other possibly important/interesting
    information...

    I've had it happen a couple times with the ecweb as well, but not
    reliably so... it's like there's an occassional app-crash and the
    connection doesn't reset until a TCP timeout...

    I was able to get it to happen more with the runemaster ui though... and
    more so when running via a reverse-proxy. I had been using dokku (with letsendcrypt), and had a reverse-proxy app pointing to the bbs server
    for https support, that seemed to crash at least once a session.

    I never did export/capture the logs and have taken that setup down, only
    to save a little $$ while working on the UX, which is going very slowly
    for me.
