• Changing Time Zone

From Hatton@1:103/705 to All on Mon Sep 21 03:36:58 2020
So after more than a month of running this BBS, it just occurred to me that the time on the board is way off.

As it turns out, the VPS is currently set to UTC time zone while the board is set as if it's EDT.

What impact should I look out for if I change the time settings on the VPS?

I would imagine that will set your time right. I have my BBS set to PDT as
well as the TZ setting for my box that the BBS is running on.

You might have a day of timed events or network call-outs that don't work (or don't work when expected), but should cure itself quickly.
