    Greetings All!


    As soon as I hit save I realized complaining of a "password problem" may not be enough info to go so here is the actual error...

    evnt TICKIT Configured TicFilePwd is empty, but TIC file has a password, node: 1:105/81

    Nov 19 11:30:03 sbbs synchronet[656]: evnt TICKIT Configured TicFilePwd is empty, but TIC file has a password, node: 1:105/81@fidonet
    Nov 19 11:30:03 sbbs synchronet[656]: evnt TICKIT No password matched for sender 1:105/81 or 1:105/81@fidonet.
    Nov 19 11:30:03 sbbs synchronet[656]: evnt TICKIT Please check the defined password for this sender.

    Please also keep in mind this message is not coming from that machine so the origin below should not be considered during any trouble shooting tips.. Thank you...

    This is a guess on my part. Do you have the domain set in echocfg below the linked nodes address? I have been tossing tics OK with both set.

    I had this issue with the "domain" configured in echocfg. Remove the domain
    and it'll work for you. I figured this out after I went an put in domains for 20 networks and had to go in and remove them.
