  • Delete Messages

    I'm not able to to delete messages from a local message group i've created on my system and I not sure if I have missed something somewhere or what. I'm running version 3.18 Revision B


    Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

    I went and read that and I set it so sysop only can view deleted messages. But I am not able to delete some messages out of this area on my system for some reason. I looked for the attribute of deleted in the header but it does not show the message as marked for deletion. So there is still something worng here on my end and I'm not sure where or what I have missed that is causing this.

    For each sub-board, you have the option in SCFG: "Users Can Delete Posts", how is that option set? How, exactly, are you trying to delete the message? Do you have a custom message header that perhaps doesn't show attributes (like "DELETE")? You can use other tools (e.g. smbutil) to check/display message attributes, including "DELETE".
