• Dosemu patch test

From mlong@1:103/705 to All on Wed Dec 9 21:41:32 2020
Hi, I'm looking for some sysops to help test my dosemu patch before it is merged into the main project. It lets you fully customize and control the external.bat and dosemu command line, as well as fix character injection when starting an I/o intercept door

The list of files to download is here: https://gitlab.synchro.net/main/sbbs/-/merge_requests/61

There are a few ini files to place in exec and then some files to put in etc and recompile

I have tested it and my existing doors worked fine without any issues.

As a side note, Ubuntu 20.04 doesn't come with dosemu, only dosemu2. I had to pull the package from an earlier version. That said, on my test system, I did get bigbang from tw2002, and then wedit running so maybe we can investiage how to incorporate your changes into working with dosemu2. It does some strange stuff with the drive letters and complains about config.sys so it'll be a work in progress.

I would love to get dosemu2 support in there but I can't get it to compile on Debian so I couldn't troubleshoot to see what changes and tweaks are needed

For those following along, I have got dosemu2 working on Ubuntu 20.04 with the new updates. Not only that but it's working with programs that didn't work in dosemu, namely tw2002. We're working on an easly solution that'll make dosemu or dosemu2 integration easier.
