From Boondock@4:92/1 to All on Wed May 12 04:16:55 2021
    Hi,
I see on the wiki page under the section "EchoList Sections" one of the options is "Keys". (http://wiki.synchro.net/config:sbbsecho.ini)

It mentions that this is for a "List of keys (comma-separated) which enable Linked Node AreaFix access to this EchoList".

Keys are also mentioned in the "Node Sections" with the comment "List of keys (comma-separated) which enable AreaFix access to one or more Additional EchoLists".

I cannot find what the "Keys" are that this page refers to. Is this a list of FileAreas? or node addresses?

    Thanks

    Boondock

    Hello Boondock,

I cannot find what the "Keys" are that this page refers to. Is this a
list of FileAreas? or node addresses?

My keys are "FIDO", "RGN17", "NET153" and so forth. They could be simply A, B or C also, just give nodes access the the keys you create.

The keys are connected to echolists setup in echocfg -> Echolists. The echolists (that you create) are lists of areas nodes have access too.

It's a list of keys that you define. e.g. "FIDO" could be a key that declare as required for access to your FidoNet echolist.
