This is a bizzare happening. I cant access the ftp section on my bbs using firefox, chrome or edge IE shows page cannot be displayed.
I can on the otherhand use ftpx and access it. Are there files missing or is there a setting that I am not setup right to use the web browser to view files?

I hate to say it but that is probably perfectly normal behaviour for a lot of web browsers today. They seem to have the strange idea that that is a security fix.

My own firefox 91.1.0 does absolutely nothing when I click on on ftp or telnet link.

    Ttyl :-),

Nothing bizarre about it - modern browsers no longer support the FTP
    protocol.

Most browsers have removed FTP capability. I use FileZilla for any FTP transfers...mainly for sbbs_dev and sbbs_run files. I figured I'd grab
them today, since it was time for another Windows 2nd Tuesday update.

On another note, your CAPTCHA utility is working beautifully. :)

That's something I find a bit bizzare.. Files have been hosted via FTP for a long time. I think I heard something like they think FTP hosting is a security risk now, or something?

Having FTP support in a web browser is nice, as you can just click on the link and download the file, the same as a file hosted via HTTP.

Yes, it's being/been removed because of security concerns.

I did figure it out IE 11 still supports it, and i use FTP-explorer.
Yes Ever since i started using to capture utility I have not had a bot attempt to logon as ROOT or Admin or SSH. Some thanks to other people and reading through the DOCS of the Baja.

At first, Google came for Gopher Support and I did not speak out - because I did not have a gopher site.

Then, they came for FTP Support and I did not speak out - because I did not have an FTP site.

Then, they came for HTTP and I did not speak out - because I had a
    LetsEncrypt certificate.

Then, they came for HTTPS, and there was no one left to speak for me.
