    The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 566
    continues.

    SUMMARY...A threat for damaging/severe gusts continues across Severe Thunderstorm Watch 566 and is expected to continue for at least a
    few more hours.

    DISCUSSION...KEAX and MRMS mosaic radar data shows a broken squall
    line of linear segments and transient supercell structures
    continuing across extreme southeast KS into north-central MO.
    Multiple severe gusts and wind damage reports have been received in
    the past 1-2 hours, especially across far east KS. However,
    deep-layer ascent in tandem with the surface low continue to rapidly
    propagate northward, away from MO. Furthermore, the convective line
    is gradually tracking eastward ahead of the axis of buoyancy/minimum
    MLCINH, which may explain the gradual weakening convective/lightning
    trends in the last hour. However, an impressive kinematic
    environment remains ahead of the line and additional damaging/severe
    gusts are still possible over the next few hours, and a 65+ kt gust
    cannot be completely ruled out.
