Only if it is the DOS version. WINServer? No. Different message base format.

... Damn it Jim! It's one of @FROMFIRST@'s Taglines!

I have a question..... DOS or windows version??

I found a copy and it says it does..
    :Start
! The 16-bit DOS version was too large to compile, so to be able to
continue to release it at all, I had to remove some of the least
used msgbase formats. This means that the 16-bit DOS version no
longer has support for Ezycom, PCBoard, WildCat! and Goldbase. If
you need these msgbase formats, please use the 32-bit DOS version or
    another platform.
    :stop

I looked at the doc of the 16Bit DOS version and it states that you need
to use the 32Bit DOS verson... anything other than the 16Bit version.

I'm assuming there is a difference between WC4 & WC5 though. DOCS did
    expand..

Yes, there is. Not only different ways of accessing the message
databases, but different database formats completely.

Well, the "FILE_ID.DIZ" for the 16-bit version that I got says it does do Wildcat 4:

    Sounds like it.

WC5 probably changed its message base format to support Microsoft Exchange.

Could be... Sounds like Robert might know the answer to this...

This is incorrect. MSI DID make an addon to support Microsoft Exchange
called wcExchange, but that is where any relationship between the two
ends. WINServer! databases are proprietary format databases and not
used by anyone else. Any utilities that access these databases use a client/server call to wcServer which handles the dirty work behind the
scenes. At least that is my recollection.

... Nothing funny to post as a Tagline, this trip.

Might want to tell Marceline this...

I've learned more than I wanted to know about the BBS. I was always
happy thinking things were magic and it was because of that it just
    worked.
